3x90 EXPEDITION
A world-first expedition, pushing myself to the physical and mental limits in the world's harshest and most remote environment.
In November 2026, in memory of my mum, Elaine, who battled kidney failure most of her life, I am aiming to become the first-ever transplant recipient to ski from the Antarctic coast to the South Pole, solo and unsupported. This is my biggest expedition to date, the 3x90 Expedition and will take up to 50 days to complete as I cover 566 miles, almost the length of the UK.
Above is a taster video of what I'll experience and below are some expedition stats for anyone who may be curious.
566 miles covered in 40-50 days (dependent on storm days)
Start point - 82 degrees south - Ronne Ice Shelf
Finish point - 90 degrees south - South Pole
13 miles - average daily distance
10 hours - average daily duration skiing
Skiing from sea level and climbing to 2800 metres
-10c - highest potential temperature
-40c - lowest potential temperature
100kg - total weight of food and equipment I will carry
